The 6th edition of Paysalia, the reference Landscaping, Gardening and Sports Grounds Show, was even more successful than in previous years. The expectations of the 29,912 professional visitors to Paysalia and Rocalia– up 13.2% vs. 20171 - were fully met. This popularity highlights the quality of the event, an impression shared by all the exhibitors too!
A driving force
Business and discussions in a friendly atmosphere and network building were the focus of this, the 6th edition enjoyed by visitors as well as the 741 exhibitors present (up 11.6% on 2017), representing 1,291 brands, 29% of which were showing for the first time. Paysalia confirms its position as the top trade show in France. Our force is driven by our proximity with all the players in the sector. Co-organized with Unep – the main French trade association for Landscaping Companies – and propelled by the commitment of all our partners, Paysalia federates and meets the expectations and needs of everyone involved in Landscaping, Gardening and Sports Grounds!
I come to Paysalia to discover or rediscover specific professionals, maintain my contact with suppliers and meet them face to face. Coming to the Show adds another dimension to our relationship. I also come to find new products meeting my specific needs. Today I saw two types of suppliers – transplantation suppliers and suppliers of RFID markers.
Sabine Epineuse, Disneyland Paris horticultural service construction project manager
I am a landscape designer and I come to the Show to see innovations and trends, new materials and exceptional items. I enjoy meeting suppliers directly as I usually work through wholesalers. The contact here is different. We can give feedback to our suppliers about their products and get answers in real time. I already came to the 2015 and 2017 editions.
It’s amazing to see how much the number of exhibitors has increased over this time.
Damien Leborgne, landscape designer in the Morbihan, Brittany, France.
Paysalia and Rocalia have become more and more international. 9.28% of visitors were from outside France. The top 5 countries were Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Belgium and Germany. And 22% of Paysalia exhibitors were international – the top 5 countries being Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany and the Netherlands. Visits by foreign delegations (Hungary, Italy and Spain) and the presence of international federations also builds the Show’s international dimension.
Paysalia tells us about sectorial changes in France. Here we discover new trends and ideas, as well as business opportunities – and make contact with suppliers of products of interest to our domestic market. Paysalia is very specific: the Show really focuses on landscaping professionals.
Our visit enabled us to check out some ideas, rebuild our enthusiasm and the pride we have in our profession, make contacts and give a new impetus to our actions.
Jaume Alagarda, President FEEJ (Spanish Federation of the Companies of the Garden)
Exhibitors and visitors were mobilized throughout the three days of Paysalia despite the strikes. The highly reactive system set up by GL events Exhibitions to help everyone during this tough day including free admission and parking, early Show closing and specific visitor and exhibitor information reduced the impact and enabled all the professionals to get on with their work.

High value-added content for visitors
As a broad-spectrum Trade Show, Paysalia hosts professionals with very different profiles. The wealth and quality of our offer provides specific answers to everyone’s expectations. Paysalia’s value-added lies in the diversity and the renewal of contents for professionals.
For this edition, new conference zones like the Paysalia Forum and the Place du Village welcomed and attracted hosts of visitors for all these key events.
The Wellgreen and Green City days focused respectively on a visit to the Matmut stadium in Gerland and innovative green spaces in Lyon.
Another characteristic of Paysalia is the events and conferences proposed by increasingly active partners who use the Show as a platform to organize their own events and multiply meetings!
Synergy with Rocalia also makes it possible to give private owners, public authorities, landscape designers and specifiers a global offer focused on plants and minerals which exists nowhere else.

For the first time, the Carré des Jardiniers proposed, in the middle of the 5 finalists’ gardens, a convivial Village Square featuring the Maison Paysalia, the Maison du Carré des Jardiniers and the Agora. During the three days of Show, the Place du Village vibrated to the contests but also to round tables, debates and master classes!
We look forward to seeing you again at Eurexpo-Lyon, France, from 30th November to 2nd December 2021!
